New Bike

OK so I have lost a pile of weight and still going, and this week I finally bought a new bike.  I have ridden it twice and LOVE IT!  here is a picture of her loveliness…

I also bought the “walky-dog leash.”  This thing is awesome because my dog can’t be worn out.  So a nice long bike ride really helps.  Also she is a bit skiddish so this thing doesn’t allow her to mess around.  I will take some video of her running on it soon.  Plus she pulls me!  I can get going pretty fast!

It’s nice because the leash is under my butt so she can’t pull me off course like if the leash was in my hand on the steering wheel.  I love it!  We need to go get her a harness tomorrow because she is pulling on her neck too much.  This is gonna be the best summer EVER!  See you on the trails!

I have lived right next to the greenway and never been on it for two years!

How nice is it outside?

Don’t answer that.  I know how nice it is.  40 is the new 80.  It’s warmer today than it has been in the last six months.  I love the sun-shine too.  I love it so much I went outside to sit in it.  I also took my dog for a walk.  I have had to put some sort of foot protection on my dog as she skids all over the sidewalk chasing her ball, but she wore out her predecessors old shoes.  So I thought I would try a new strategy.

I put tiny kid socks on her feet along with some self-sticking fist aid tape.  It didn’t last long.  The first one fell off in about two minutes.  After about five minutes she only had one left.  She put a fast hole in it and dragged it around the puddles for about half hour.

She looks funny and her poor lil feet bled anyway.  I guess we need to find some better dog shoes, but it sure was nice to be outside.

Happy New Year everyone!

The new year starts off great!  I am so happy and doing well.  My dog Ziggy is a happy happy girl.  We walk and go to the park all the time. 

This is Ziggy with her best dog buddy Casey.  Ziggy likes to drag Casey around the floor and hump him every chance she gets.  But it tires her out so its ok.

I have a couple of fun shows coming up.  I’ll be doing the Montreal Showcase tomorrow, Tuesday the 12th,  at House of Comedy at Mall of America and Amber Preston and I will be doing a really fun show on the 23rd at the Corner Bar, called borderline inappropriate.  I know its gonna be a lot of fun and we should have a full house!  So come on down to either show.

I’ve got a huge order of custom glass push pins I’m working on and also doing some other work for my family.

I’m excited for what 2010 will bring and I hope I get to spend a lot of time seeing everyone and laughing and HAVING FUN!

The leaves change color

I just love this time of year when the leaves change.

This is a picture of my dog Posey at my grandparents lake.  I just love how the clouds looked against the leaves across the lake.

This is a big huge mushroom I saw on the way to the cabin.  Is anyone good at identifying mushrooms?  I didn’t eat it.  Here is another one I saw.  These were huge.  Like dinner plate big.

I dig these trees.  I took all of these pics on my iphone.  Look at the big versions, they are not bad! Happy fall colors everyone!
